10 Success Principles For Your Direct Sales Business

1. Use Your Products - be your own best customer. How can you succeed with a product line you don't use and embrace? Enough said.

2. Accept Your Opportunity As it Is and Take Action - I can't tell you how many times a new distributor has said to me - "I can't be successful with this business until we get XYZ products, or changes." That always amazed me since myself and others were having great success with things just the way they were. My goal has always been to have a huge, growing organization so that when positive changes happen, more people experience great benefits!

3. Copy is the Name of the Game - If you follow and copy a method of growing and building your business that has worked for others, that is all you need to do. No need to get creative in the beginning, unless you really want to slow things down.

4. Goal Setting is a MUST - How can you know where you are going, or if you have succeeded unless you have decided where you are going? It has been proven time and time again that those who succeed have clear, specific, written goals. You won't be the exception so get those goals on paper right now!

5. Attend Events - This is another one that stumps me - the new distributor who claims they are not going to attend an event until they make some money. Two thoughts on this - go make some money and get to the event; and what of the event is the thing you need so you can make some money? The top income earners attend events. Again, enough said.

6. Retail With the Goal to Recruit - Some will and some won't, but you always want to make sure every retail customer knows about the exciting opportunity behind your company. You are offering a gift!

7. Have a Positive Mindset - Expect the best, always. Find the positive in any situation. People like to be around and do business with positive, upbeat people!

8. Be in Business Every Day - Busy people get things done and consistent actions are what product big results over time. The beauty in Direct Sales is that you can create amazing results from small, but specific daily actions. Contact 2 people a day about your business and watch what happens at the end of the year!

9. Be the Leader You Look Up To - Leadership and setting a good example in our profession is critical. Do all of those activities you expect your team to do and share your results for inspiration.

10. Never Quit - Ask many top income earners what the secret is to their success is and they will tell you - "I just didn't quit." We get better at anything with practice and repetition. Be willing to go through the struggles and challenges of growing your skills in Direct Sales. It is so worth it!

MLM Success - I'll Show You Step by Step

Think about the top names you know in Network Marketing - Randy Gage, Mark Yarnell, Richard Brooke, Doug Firebaugh, Jan Ruhe, etc. How many of these people made it to the top by having some one take them step by step through the success system?

None of them, actually! If you've heard their stories, you know that they were given the basic concepts of the business and told to "go for it!"

So, if they can create success in their MLM business without having someone hold their hand, why can't you? What's stopping you?

You can learn the basics of Network Marketing – Contact, Invite, Present, Follow up, Sponsor, Train and Duplicate – in one day. You'll spend more time than that getting good at it, but that is how it is with anything you do.

The reality about success in MLM is that it is truly "trial by fire." Everyone is going to do things just a little bit differently. You must find our own authentic voice and style. It takes some time practicing and trying new things to find what that voice is. If you practice it with good intent, you'll make money while you discover your own style.

For me, my success has come by being what I call a "Solutions Coach." I love connecting with others and helping them find a solution to whatever their challenge is. Sometimes, that puts them into my business. Other times, it is about pointing them toward training that helped me. Still other times, it's just listening and helping them coach themselves past their fears and frustrations.

You don't need a step by step manual for MLM Success. That can be a recipe for MLM failure if you aren't careful. Find your path and carve it deep!

You Didn't Fall For "The Next Big Thing" Did You?

If you've been on the Internet (and you have since you are reading this) you may have fallen prey to "The Next Big Thing" syndrome that is out there. It's rampant on the Internet, and if you are signed up on very many newsletters or notification lists, you are likely seeing it regularly.

You're cruising through email and BAM – an email drops into your box with a screaming headline about how great this new opportunity is; and how much money you are going to make with this new opportunity; and how so-and-so-big-name is getting involved with this big opportunity and this opportunity is going to help you dump your mediocre status that you've had so far in M.L.M. and you are going to finally make some REAL money!

Question for you – how many opportunities are you going to join before you realize that none of this has anything at all to do with your success? New; better; best; big name; matching bonus, blah, blah, blah. This is not what true success is about.

It's not the company; it's not the big name; it's not the products; it's not the pay plan; it's not your upline; it's not the "turnkey, duplication system"; it's not any of these things that determine your success in Network Marketing. These are just things sold to you by slick marketers who know how to invoke your emotions and make you think you are going to win the lottery if you just join "their deal."

The opportunity you have in front of you most likely has all of the components to allow you to create the business and lifestyle of your dreams. If anyone in your company has done it, so can you.

The only thing that is missing for you, if you aren't getting what you want from it, is your belief; your commitment and your focus. The success you desire is all about you, and your ability to get it lies within you.

You just have to decide to stop looking around; procrastinating; making excuses; and thinking that it can't happen for you. You have to decide that every day, you are going to put one foot in front of the other and BE the success story you desire.

No one gets lucky in this profession and no one gets a free ride. The top distributors get to the top by developing a business action plan and taking action. Simple as that. In the beginning, they work hard to lay the foundation. Sometimes, it seems like there is no progress. They certainly work harder than the ones standing on the sideline saying "It's easy for so-and-so. He/she has ______ and I don't."

In the beginning, you must treat your business like a JOB if you want to create the benefits it offers. It's not the lottery; it's not get rich quick; and everyone pays a price to be successful. It's a high price, too, but it is so worth it.

The average networker, however, does not treat the business like a JOB. They don't make a commitment; and they aren't willing to pay the price. They think that when they order their starter pack, they are buying a lottery ticket guaranteed to win. Or, pulling the arm on a slot machine.

Knowing this, what steps will you take today to get your business into the race? How will you develop a disciplined work ethic so you can begin to see the results that you want? The grass really is not greener anywhere else. It's thick, rich and fertilized right here, right now. If you aren't getting the results you want out of your business today, who is going to change that? It's not your sponsor, and it's not the company. It's you.

Cruising the Internet looking for something easier; more this or more that isn't going to change your results. You will face the same problems there and have to overcome the same challenges.

You have to be willing to decide what it is you really want; decide what price you are willing to pay to get it; decide what you must and will overcome to get there; and decide to take action starting right now and every day.

It's that simple. I remember the day I made that decision. I remember the price I was willing to pay. I remember my challenges and what I had to do to "get over myself" essentially. And, I remember every day how glad I am I had "that day."

Let today be YOUR day!

Key Quality #6 of the Successful Network Marketer

What defines success in any profession? Typically, there are a few qualifiers and Network Marketing is no different. Too many people, however, enter our profession and think success will happen even if they take shortcuts. Not so. Network Marketing, like any solid profession, requires mastery of a few essential components if one wants to experience true success.

Key Quality #6 – Be Accountable.

Accountability is a key piece of success in the profession of Network Marketing largely due to the fact that this is a volunteer business. It doesn't come with a job description; a time clock; or a set paychecj at the end of two weeks.

It's up to you to make things happen in your business.

Staying accountable to yourself will help you keep focused, remain committed, and know what steps you will take in your business journey each day. Find a partner to be accountable to, if that helps.

This is not meant to be "your boss!" But, rather, this is your friend. Your personal assistant, committed to assisting you with those oh-so important business steps.

Use a Weekly Planner to chart out what steps you will take and then follow through with action. Adapt them to fit your style. Talk to your sponsor about accountability sheets that might be available to you.

Spend some time today reviewing your goals and objectives in this business. Also, reflect on the available time you have to commit to your business. Get clear on the action steps that will take you where you want to be.

Write down your goals on a 3 by 5 index card. Write down your 5 most important action steps for each day.

Place these near your phone, computer, tape to your mirror, etc. Make sure this is in front of you each day.

If you get side tracked one day....oh well. Each day is a new beginning.

Tracking is essential to your business. It does two things - it improves on those actions you are already good at and it shows you your weaknesses.

Pay attention to those weaknesses. There is great wisdom there as to why things may not be going the way you want.

One of my mentors once said - "Is your business growing? People spend months "doing" the business, then get a paycheck and think 'this isn't working.' That's not true! What they are DOING isn't working."

Certain proven activities produce results in network marketing. These don't really change from company to company.

That same mentor above created the Pocket Tracker Training. I have used this for years in the business. It helped me grow to a six figure income earner and I know it will help you, too.

Find out more at - http://www.streetsmartwealth.com/track.htm

Key Quality #5 of the Successful Network Marketer

What defines success in any profession? Typically, there are a few qualifiers and Network Marketing is no different. Too many people, however, enter our profession and think success will happen even if they take shortcuts. Not so. Network Marketing, like any solid profession, requires mastery of a few essential components if one wants to experience true success.

Key Quality #5 – Attend Company and Distributor Events.

Getting yourself "plugged in" and familiar with the company, culture and story behind the company best occurs by actually being physically present. There is something magical that happens when you attend your first company event. IT's hard to describe, even.

Beyond providing proven, critical training, it instills something in the new distributor about how "real" the business is and the possibilities it contains. You'll meet the top income earners and leaders within the company, the management team; and by the time it's over, you'll realize that you have as much potential as anyone of taking your business to the top.

Find out as quickly as you can what events are planned and begin immediately to plan on attending. Determine dates; costs; and details that you'll need to take care of in order to get there. The more events you attend, the more your business will grow.

The more people on your team who you get to events, the faster your business (and theirs) will grow. Your team will attend if you attend. This is not a case of "do as I say, not as I do." If you want a growing team, grow yourself by being at events.

Promote these events way before the month they occur so your team can make plans. Have a special gathering for your team at these events, if possible, and make sure people meet and get to know each other.

After the event, share your thoughts and experiences and announce any upcoming events to get your team in the planning stages to attend. Get others to share their experiences, as well.

This is a very important, non-negotiable part of your business strategy for success. You simply must be at events!

Tomorrow, Key Quality #6 – Be Accountable.

Key Quality #4 of the Successful Network Marketer

What defines success in any profession? Typically, there are a few qualifiers and Network Marketing is no different. Too many people, however, enter our profession and think success will happen even if they take shortcuts. Not so. Network Marketing, like any solid profession, requires mastery of a few essential components if one wants to experience true success.

Key Quality #4 – Follow a System of Single Daily Actions.

Let's face it, your business is going to grow by doing only two things – finding customers, and signing up new distributors who find customers and new distributors. So, you'll want to incorporate these two things into a plan of Daily Actions.

Your system for doing these things will consist of your list and methods for finding people to speak to about your products and business; your presentation to these prospects; following up; and taking action with those who say yes.

Decide how you are going to grow your contact list. Start by using the notification process to advise those you already know about your business. From there, determine the methods of generating leads that most appeal to you. Talk to your sponsor about different ideas and find your best fit. This will help ensure that you take these action steps daily.

Your daily action plan should consist of talking to at least 2 people per day about your business. As you do this, you'll also incorporate follow up as part of your action plan, since you'll be following up with your daily contacts. Sponsoring and training will also become a part of your daily business plan, as well.

These consistent actions will take you to the top levels of success in Network Marketing.

Tomorrow, Key Quality #5 – Attend Company and Distributor Events.

Key Quality #3 of the Successful Network Marketer

What defines success in any profession? Typically, there are a few qualifiers and Network Marketing is no different. Too many people, however, enter our profession and think success will happen even if they take shortcuts. Not so. Network Marketing, like any solid profession, requires mastery of a few essential components if one wants to experience true success.

Key Quality #3 – Study Your Profession.

If you wanted to learn to fly an airplane, there would be some education and study required, right? What if you wanted to become a surgeon? Same thing. Network Marketing success is no different. You must be teachable, and you must be willing to seek out and learn every day.

Talk to your sponsor about the methods he/she uses to build the business. Find out what training resources you should be learning from. Set aside time every day to expand your learning process.

As you begin learning and studying the profession, you will find stories and experiences shared by others that are just like you. Everyone has moments of challenge and struggle in this profession. Everyone who is actually working the business hears "no" much more than they hear "yes." And, the successful ones keep going. No matter what.

As you study these stories, it will instill in you that you can be a success, too, if you just keep taking action. Your first days in Network Marketing can be the most challenging, and if you are plugged into learning and studying from others, you will know that what you are experiencing is common and this can keep you in the game.

Your business will grow as fast as you do and you'll grow faster by studying and learning from others. Stay in student mode and be ready to share this important activity with your growing downline.

Tomorrow, Key Quality #4 – Follow a System of Single Daily Actions.

Key Quality #1 of the Successful Network Marketer

Key Qualities of the Network Marketing Professional

What defines success in any profession? Typically, there are a few qualifiers and Network Marketing is no different. Too many people, however, enter our profession and think success will happen even if they take shortcuts. Not so. Network Marketing, like any solid profession, requires mastery of a few essential components if one wants to experience true success.

1. Use your products, all of them. That old saying "become a product of the product" is critical for you to become comfortable and fluent discussing what your business offers. Nothing will put doubt into the mind of your prospect faster than quickly discerning that you don't know your product line. How can you instill belief in others if you don't truly have it yourself?

If your company offers a large starter pack of all of the products, get started with that. This is a business and getting started with all of the products will get you off to the fastest start. No excuses!

Go through your home and place every competing product you have that your company offers in a garbage bag. Give it away or throw it away and replace all products with those from your own store. This helps develop your product story and you might be surprised how many people who visit your home will ask about your products.

Also begin to share your products with others through samples and demos. I give away my products all of the time and this has come back to me tenfold in profit, repeat orders and customer referrals. Your products are the bet sales aid and tool you have, so why not use them? It's a solid investment in your business and a tax write-off.

As you sponsor others and grow your team, spend your time with the ones who commit to the product line as well. Those who commit to the product line from the beginning deserve your time and will likely be your most stable business builders.

When you are solid in your belief and use of your products, others will notice and become curious. Commit to yourself and your business through this first key quality – Use Your Products! And, then naturally recommend them to others.

Tomorrow, Key Quality #2 – Developing a Loyal Customer Base.

Climbing the LAST, Long, Steep Hill in Your Success Journey

Today, when I set off on my morning walk at Ventura Beach, I headed inland toward the foothills of the city. Although I love walking the beach strand, with the seagulls, surfers, walkers and fresh ocean scent, I wanted a tougher work out.

I've walked this area before but as I came around a familiar turn, I saw a steeper road leading up further on the hill than I had ever noticed before. "Oh, geez" I thought. I didn't want to do it. My immediate instinct was –"no, I've done enough, time to head back." And, that second, small, inner voice said – "C'mon wimp. You wanted a tougher workout. Think how good you'll feel once you are at the top."

"I'll just go half way" said the first small voice and I headed up. I had already put in a solid walk, lots of up and down the foothills, and my heart rate was definitely up. After a 15 second internal battle of the wills, I knew that I had to keep climbing. I had to push myself just a little further and get that extra burn and, more importantly, that feeling of accomplishment!

As I got to the top and turned around to head back down, I stopped in my tracks. The view was stunning. All of Ventura Harbor, the Channel Islands and the wide open ocean spread out before me. A sailboat regatta was just coming out of the harbor along with 2 charter boats of visitors to the islands. Surfer's Point was off to the right and the water was filled with surfers, anticipating the next great wave. I couldn't believe my payoff for making the climb!

What if I had cut it short and missed the view from the top? What if I had decided that enough was enough and I would just "settle" for the norm? What if I had let the first small voice win out and determine my destiny for that day?

Do you ever do this in your business? I sure have. My network marketing career has been filled with days of "settling." I've had goals of making 10 dials and stopped after making the first call when someone hung up on me. I've made a business plan for the next day and scrapped it in favor of reading a good book because that was easier.

Ultimately, though, over time, I made the decision to keep going. Once I realized that it wasn't going to kill me, I made the decision to push myself a little more. And, then a little more. And, even more!

There are many hills to climb in building a Network Marketing business and many pop up when you least expect it. Sometimes, you'll come around a corner and see a really long hill that you hadn't seen before. You know you've walked that path, but you swear that hill wasn't there before. You have to climb that long, last hill for the day. You have to climb it every time it shows up. You may be tired, out of breath and out of water, but you do have it in you to keep pushing forward.

Just like the view of the harbor from the top of the hill on my walk, the view from the top of your successful network marketing business is incredible. Indescribable, even. Filled with things you can't even imagine.

On a recent call with John Fogg, he asked me what the best thing has been for me about network marketing. Without missing a beat, or thinking it through, I answered with the very first thing that came to mind – personal peace, satisfaction and the feeling of accomplishment.

It's not the money; the title; the plaques and awards. Those are nice, and they felt good at the time. But nothing even comes close to the feeling I have knowing that I did it. I hit the top 1% or smaller of network marketers. I pushed against the odds and overcame the biggest obstacle of all, myself, and made it to the top.

Nothing can ever take that away. Nothing. It's mine and I own it. I want you to own it, too. Put on your walking shoes and take the journey to the top. You can’t even imagine what you will find there.

7 Keys to Sponsoring With Integrity and Success

If you will always focus your efforts on recruiting with integrity, you will have so much business you won't know what to do with it all! What a problem to have, eh?

Here are some guidelines on sponsoring with integrity -

1. Never bash another company. It only makes you look bad in the end. And, it degrades the entire industry, including your opportunity.

2. Focus on the needs, wants and desires of your prospect. It's about them, not you. Avoid the tendency to talk too much about yourself, except when sharing your personal story and hot button.

3. Never hype or overplay your opportunity. Network Marketing is strong enough to stand on its own without "check flashing" and bogus income claims. In a job interview, no one ever pulls out their paycheck to try and convince you to come to work for them. It should be the same in our industry.

4. If your prospect has already seen your company presentation and been approached by someone else, suggest that the prospect re-evaluate and get back with the person that originally talked with him/her and get started. This shows integrity on your part and if the prospect REALLY wants you to sponsor them, they will tell you. Ultimately, it is up to the prospect to decide whom he/she will partner with and everyone should honor this. We are in a time when more and more people are choosing our industry as a career path and they are "sponsor shopping." This is actually a good business decision. People must ultimately make a sponsor choice that best serves them.

5. Always keep your word. Follow up when you say you will, be on time, follow through on any promises you make and be a professional.

6. Yes, it is a numbers game, but be careful you aren't treating people like a number. Give your best to each person so that they truly believe you are interested in them as a partner and not just as a paycheck.

7. Remember that your represent our entire industry so always maintain your integrity and that of the industry. We have such a tremendous industry and things are really happening for us. If we all work together and respect each other, everyone's business will grow and prosper!

Have a GREAT sponsoring weekend!

Your Worst Enemy - Comparing Yourself to Others

Yesterday, my daughter had some pictures taken for a project she is working on and had some fun with a make up artist who was also there. Quite a thrill for a 13 year old!

Iris, the make up artist had a recent copy of one of the fashion magazines, (I think it was Vanity Fair) and it featured Sharon Stone. Iris was laughing and commenting on the magic of "airbrushing" because in the photos, Sharon is flawless and well into her 50's. Wrinkle free, perfect in every way and drop dead gorgeous.

Iris recently saw her at some event and said she looks terrible in real life. Dark bags and circles under her eyes, a few age spots and lots of wrinkles. Now, I'm not dissing on Sharon by any means, but the discussion made me think about things we all do in real life and in business.

We compare ourselves to others, in many cases, comparing ourselves to others without even sort of knowing if it's apples to apples or apples to oranges.

I watch my daughter struggling with this with girls at school; I watch my friends struggle with it regarding weight, wrinkles and aging; and I see many network marketers struggle with it when they believe their business is growing more slowly than others; that others have it easier.

Comparison is always a dangerous thing. Most of the time, things are not quite what they seem, as we know from the covers of fashion magazines. Airbrushing goes on in real life and in business, too.

We see fast starters seemingly shoot to the top of companies; we see people rewarded with bonuses greater than ours; we see names grace the top sponsor lists; and we look at ourselves and ask "Why not me? What is wrong with me?"

Here is a survival tip for this business and life in general - Stop Comparing Yourself to ANYONE. Compete only with yourself and your own personal best.

It's easy to look at Sharon Stone on the cover of the magazine and think how nice for her that she has bypassed all aging that goes along with being 50 plus years old. We look at a fast starter and think that he/she must know some special skill or have some secret; his/her friends must like him/her better.

Here's the thing - there is most always a story behind the story; the one that you and I never see.

Models and actors have the benefit of airbrushing; and most fast starters have a success story from before, that we don't know about and don't take the time to research. Top income earners in Network Marketing pay their dues somewhere; ask any top income earner. And, everyone's life circumstances are different.

Some people have a $500 monthly budget with which to run their business, and assuming they invest is wisely and take action on it, they will likely have faster results than the person spending $25. The person who makes their list of everyone they know; send out the friends and family letter; drops off a packet and some products to sample; hosts a BOSS or networks the business in some way consistently will have better and faster results than the person who gets out into cold market right away.

We all have a learning curve and a process to go through in business success. Sharon Stone paid her dues as a starving actress for years and today is paid very well; and can afford to be airbrushed! We didn't see her in those early days, facing rejection after rejection. We look at her now and think - wow, what a life!

Listening to Jan Ruhe this morning reminded me about what it takes to pay one's dues. She did not have immediate success and yet is a millionaire today. Jordan Adler of Beach Money invested THOUSANDS of dollars and talked to lots of people for over TEN YEARS and had no success in Network Marketing. Today, he is a millionaire.

If you compare yourself to either of those two today, you might feel badly for the rest of the day; think it can't happen for you. However, if you can flash back and make that comparison to either of them in year one, year two, or in some cases, year ten, you might feel VERY good about yourself and where you are.

Compare yourself today to the action steps you took yesterday. How do you feel about that? What can you improve upon?

To quote Eleanor Roosevelt - "You must do the thing you think you cannot do." And, to add to it - "Over and Over again until your results shoot you to the moon!"

I'll see you there!

Expect Success!

3 Success Keys in Your Home Business

It doesn't matter what business you are starting, there are 3 key things you must do, and do consistently to be successful.

Success Key #1 – Find out your business fundamentals. What are those things for your business? Well, in most cases it involves two specific things – share the product; share the opportunity. That's it. We are paid on these two specific things and nothing else. We aren't paid for checking email; attending conference calls; re-writing training, etc. We are paid for selling product and sponsoring others who sell product. You are responsible for these two aspects if you want your business to be a success.

This leads to –

Success Key #2 – Learn How to Do the Fundamentals. Hopefully, your sponsor started you with a training guide; a training site and other resources that will educate you and anyone who you sponsor in on how to do the fundamentals of the business. If these were not provided for you, ask for them. Call the company if you can not get what you need/want from your upline and ask for someone further up. You are responsible for finding this out if not provided for you, and you can do it! You don't need a strong sponsor to find and learn what you need to about building a successful business. After all, we do just two things. Refer to Success Key #1.

Success Key #3 – Just do it! That's right. Learn what has to be done in Success Key #1; Learn how to do it in Success Key #2, and now, just take action doing it. Don't waste time trying to re-invent the wheel; or thinking up new, creative ways to do things. You can do all of that once you have the foundation of your business built. But, for now, use the methods and tools that have already been proven to work.

The fastest way to success in Network Marketing is to spend a day or two on Success Keys 1 and 2; and then spend time every day after on Success Key 3. That's it. Be the one who sets an amazing example by just taking action and going fast. After all, if you knew you needed to talk to 100 people about the business and the faster you do that, the faster you'll be earning a six figure income, how long would you wait to pick up the phone?

Guess what? That is what takes you to a six figure income. Set a goal to talk to 100 people your very first month. That is just over 3 people a day. Now, the six figures isn't going to instantly show up, but by getting a few people started from that 100, you are well on your way.

And, you are probably really great now at communicating with people; finding out their why; and introducing your products and opportunity. Why not go talk to another 100 this month?

MLM Business Plan

Okay, so you have a MLM business. Now what? What steps do you need to take to get it off the ground and successful ASAP? What should your MLM Business Plan look like?

Here are some ideas for you -

First, decide on the methods you want to use to build your business, and I encourage you to know all methods available to you and be open to trying a little of everything in the beginning. Then, you can truly determine what works the BEST for you.

Here are some important points you’ll want to consider when writing your MLM Business Plan -

• What is your primary goal with your MLM business? What do you want to accomplish most?

• Who is your target market for customer for your products? Where will you find customer prospects?

• Who is your target market for your MLM business? Where will you find MLM business prospects and leads?

• What is unique about your business and what separates you from your competition?

• What is your MLM business advertising and marketing budget? Will this budget come from your family budget initially or do you have a product that can be retailed to create that budget?

• What is your estimated date for being profitable in your business?

Once you have answers to some of these questions, you’ll want to put an action plan into place to accomplish your goals.

What daily/weekly plans do you have to develop customers and retail your products?

What daily/weekly plans do you have to develop MLM Business Leads for your business opportunity?

What methods will you use?

Don't focus on $$ amounts for your plan, instead focus on what YOU can control - ACTIONS.

Single Daily Actions (SDA's) and Weekly Plan of Action (WPA's) - # of XX each month.

Use an accountability form and find an accountability partner, upline, downline, crossline.

Set realistic goals and then adjust as you need to, and don't cut yourself too much slack.

MLM and Network Marketing Companies pay us VERY well for sharing the story of these products with others. Use this to carve out your piece of this growing multi-billion dollar industry.

What is your weekly action plan? What single daily actions will you take?

Break your weeks down and set a weekly plan of action and then daily steps. If you miss a day due to "real life" you still have the rest of the week to accomplish your weekly plan.

Pay attention to areas of resistance.

Break your year up into quarters, and focus on 90 day action plans. Don't look back until the end of 90 days and then re-evaluate and adjust, fine tune. Consult upline for assistance.

Use the tools and training guides offered by your upline. That's what they are there for.

MLM Regional Events Create Synergy

MLM Company Events

I don't often post about my own company events. This seems like a good time to make a point about the value in regional and company conventions, even though many of us are largely internet based in building our businesses.

For me, these events have always offered the opportunity to connect with, and bond with those on my team, as well as others within the company. Because I do all of my team building online, I only get the chance to meet my personally sponsored team members and others at events such as these.

In looking back at my team over the last 5 years, my strongest relationships have come from those team members who I have met face to face and spent time with at events. The relationship begins online, and moves to a new level with the face to face meeting.

I hope you'll consider this when deciding about attending your company sponsored events. Read on for my recap of my company's latest event.

Wow! Seems like a pretty lame word to sum up the experience of the 2008 Las Vegas Company Regional Conference, but I did come away a bit speechless. Perhaps "Explosive" "Awe-Inspiring" "Unbelievable" would better describe it.

We are poised to enter a new era in our company and be advised – get ready!

The success of any network marketing company really begins to show up when key leaders and visionary's begin showing up among the ranks. Some of them may have been in the company for awhile, just incubating, and some may come in and roll up the sleeves, getting to work right away. We have reached that point where we have the team in place to assist everyone in growing a long term, stable, successful business. There was an energy in the room among the speakers and it was electric!

Just decide what you want and plug into the tools and resources already in place and those that are on the way. More is coming. It just gets better and better!

It was such a personal thrill and so gratifying to have spent such quality time with so many of you there, sharing in your story and your goals. From those conversations, some very sleepless nights and busy days have followed as I have brainstormed and planned out some focus groups with many of you for moving us forward as a company and carving out our very solid niche in this industry.

Some of the focus groups we are working to target include burned out professionals, both men and women; Generation X and Y, and preparing for Generation Z, as they enter the fold. And, we certainly have the internet focus and the traditional offline focus. We are so young as a company and there is so much untilled soil out there. Opportunity is ripe for anyone who wants to grasp it and now is the time.

The first 5 years of a company are pivotal in laying the foundation and building upon that. We've poured the concrete; smoothed and shaped it and now is the time to invest in the best building blocks to build our company strong.

Make plans now to attend Summer Fling the last week of July. Focus on reasons to attend and not excuses for not being there. I learn something new from every event I attend. What important information are you missing out on by not being there? How is this slowing you down in your business? What might happen to your business if you get involved and surround yourself with successful ideas and people?

Set some goals now for "where" you will be when you attend Fling. Maybe your goal is to have your business pay for your trip (great goal!) Maybe it is to bring a team of 10, 20, 30 or more people with you from your organization (another great goal!) And, perhaps it is to move up a pay rank in the compensation plan. Whatever it is, know this – you have everything external in place to achieve it. Work on developing your internal belief and motivation and you'll achieve everything you want and more!

I look forward to seeing you up on that stage!
